Customize How Blog Parts are Displayed

Paste an analyzer tag below <body> in a template's HTML to use it in your blog. If you would like to show each entry's title, choose "Replace with a Title" in the URL replacement settings. With this setting selected, a title will be automatically obtained and shown in the ranking. When there is a blog title and an entry title inside the <title>~<title> it may look like there are two blog titles if viewed in a small blog part.

Please change it to "Entry title, Blog title", then it will look like there are two subtitles.

If you are an FC2 Blog user, this is how you change it.

<title><%blog_name><!--not_index_area--> <%sub_title><!--/not_index_area--></title>

<title><!--not_index_area--><%sub_title> <!--/not_index_area--><%blog_name></title>

Make good use of plugins and other functions to get access to different pages.
Then you can clearly see which entries are being read by viewers.

Blog Parts Settings

Each type of ranking (Entry, Popular and Exit) has a "Blog Parts" button in its menu. It's from here where you can change the Blog Parts settings.

Basic Settings

 By adjusting the Basic Settings, you can change fundamental things about how the results are displayed.

*Each ranking (Entry (IN), Popular Pages, Exit (OUT)) may be expressed differently.

Number of Displayed Rankings

  You can change the number of results you want to display. Anywhere from 3 to 30 is fine.

Search Engines

 You can choose whether to display the URL of search engines visitors use to reach your site, or you can replace the URL with the search engines' names.

Query Strings

 You can also choose whether you want to display a query string or not; or whether to delete it altogether.

 *A query string refers to a piece of data found in some URLs. It is the piece that comes after a question mark. In the example below it is the colored area.

Design Settings

 You can also change the design of your Blog Part. Change the Blog Part's width, background color, font color, etc. You can see your changes reflected in real time from the preview window.

 You can also move or change the size of the Preview Window, so you can still see your new design even if you change it to be wider. Use the palette to play around with different color options. Any color you choose from the palette is instantly reflected in the preview window. Each palette can be moved, and multiple palettes can be displayed at any one time.

Copy Settings

 You can copy your design. This can be done by choosing the copy source and pressing the "Copy" option button.

Reset Design (Return to the default settings)

 Turn back the clock and use this feature to reset your design back to it's original default settings. You can use this feature if you have made an irreparable mistake.

In order to show a web page name in ranking instead of URL, replace the URL with your web page name. Look at the side menu and click on the "URL Replacement Setting".

Turn the "URL and Web Page Name Replacement Setting" on to "Replace the Title", then a web page name is automatically acquired and the ranking will be shown by this name.

If you would like name to be automatically acquired, go to the URL replacement setting page and enter the URL of the web page, the replaced URL and the web page name after replacement in the "Add a replacement rule" section.

If you do not need to replace the URL, enter in the same URL.

Click on the "Register" button to end set up.
To use this setting for other pages, use a copy of the setting.

*The name will be shown after ranking data is updated.

Do not turn off "Replace the title". Ohterwise the title automatically acquired will be shown even if you have done all the replacement settings.
